A few weeks ago I spent a super fun weekend with the ladies in Chelan... I also learned about a fun new gadget from my friend Kris!I had recently been searching for an IPOD speaker but couldnt find one that was of good quality AND within my budget. Krissy had this speaker below made by Altec Lansing and it worked great! Battery operated, it just plugs in to your IPOD and plays! It has great sound quality as well. It even came with a cute little case to protect it whislt traveling. The only downer is that it doesnt charge my pod...
It only cost me $30 on Amazon.com. It was on sale from around $40 or so. Pretty good if I do say so myself.
I highly recommend this little guy if you are traveling and want to make sure your pre-funk hotel tunes are taken care of.

The weather wasn't awesome, but we ate, drank, played a heated battle of boys against girls in catch phrase, went sailing with my fabulous uncle and saw some Canadians... whales that is! Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE wild life and I was dying to see some whales when we were out sailing and just as we were heading back, three transient Orcas (apparently they came from Canada) swam about 200 yards off the bow of the boat. They were amazing! I practically started crying I was so excited to see them. We also saw a raccoon, deer, a seal, a bear... oh wait, that was just Tar the 120+ lb dog! (Lily went on a warmer weekend getaway with her grandparents to Plain, WA).
