My dear friend and mother of 2 Delane, introduced me to this lotion. Its more like vaseline but works wonders on hands and feet, especially during the warmer months when your skin dries out. I use this every night before I go to bed.
Coconut Luna bars are my fav! I eat one before I do yoga and give me just enough energy to get through class! I also keep one in my purse in case I get hungry when I am out an about... I totally ate one yesterday after spending 45 minutes at Michael's. And, they are somewhat low cal.
I actually JUST discovered this randomly on People.com. The cute gale from "The Decendants'" mentioned she used this on her face, and I love a nice face, I love coconut, so thought I would give it whirl. After reading up on exactly what to get in reference to "Coconut Oil", professionals suggest Virgin Coconut oil, and preferably organic. It comes compressed and you literally just rub your fingers on a little, and then smooth on your face. It smells amazing, doesn't look greasy at all (which I was afraid of) and makes your skin so super soft. I use before I go to bed and before I apply makeup.
I have been using this stuff for awhile now. LOVE IT. It not only smells good, but actually works. Will make your hair shiny and soft, and cut your dry time sightly (nothing crazy, but I get back a good few minutes of my day). You can get this online or at many salons.
One word, COSTCO. I am addicted to these little guys. I eat a serving almost every night and they are even better with a glass of red wine fireside. Dark chocolate is good for women and has been known to help with stress and sleep, two things I struggle with! Bring on the chocolate.
I realize coconut water is all the rage these days, but I genuinely think it works. I also use this for hot yoga and will typically fill 1/3 of my water bottle with this, and then add water Give me the extra kick I need halfway through class after I have sweat half my body weight! Its also great for a hangover. Instant hydration. I have tried several brands and fancy Zico best. Trader Joe's sells it for a little cheaper than most grocery stores.
Amen Bethenny Frankel. She makes a mean margarita. I just tried this on Saturday and probably drank half a bottle. Its so refreshing, light, not sweet at all, and goes down on the rocks real nice... Thank you Bethenny.
I have also been eating these for years... dried mango, unsulfered and unsweetened from Trader Joe's. Its so good, perfect little treat. Sometimes they don't have it, which makes me sad.
